Noodle is really Pam Austin, but before that she was Pam Pannucci — obviously she’s Italian, so cooking is in her blood or maybe tomato sauce is. Her dad gave her the nick name because she loved noodles so much. A name based on food couldn’t have been more appropriate for someone who enjoys cooking and tinkering with recipes as much as she does. Pannucci translates to little baker or little breadmaker, another food-based name she took to heart as she stayed in the kitchen with her mom (dad, grandma, nannie, or brother) where she absorbed all of the nuances and unspoken methods good cooks come to know. Many, many childhood memories were created in someone’s kitchen or around a dining room table — a really big dining room table. Now that her kids are old enough to help (when all the stars align and they’re hungry) she is passing on those methods with the hope of creating another generation of little bakers.
